Hi! On the trip computer, it display the total mileages before gas fill up. I noticed lately, it<br>is fluctuating from 270-300 miles for a day before<br>settling on the correct value of 320 miles after<br>fill up. Is this normal?

The "miles left before next refill" calculation appears to factor in your most recent gas mileage and assumes that you will drive in similar conditions for the remainder of your gas tank.<p>This show up most noticeably when you've beendriving around town/city for a while and then hop on the highway at cruising speeds. I've seen the 'miles remaining' go from 200 up to 275 after going from city to highway driving.<p>So pulling out of the gas station into stop and go traffic will usually result in a lower read out until you've racked up some cruising miles.<p>Chris

Coasting down the Grapevine (big mountain on the way to Los Angeles), without the car in gear, the mileage left just kept climbing and climbing... Sorta amusing. And the tank wasn't even full.
