How heavy of a turbo is a K04, will it cause wear significantly faster than the 1.8t's K03?

The KO4 doesn't have produce more boost. It allows peak boost to be produced longer through the RPM band. The KO3 runs out of breath at about 4500 RPM and boost begins to drop off. The KO4 flows more air allowing boost to stay at peak past 4500 rpm. I dont know where the KO4 boost starts to drop off. <p>Hope that helps<br>Pete
