like one other poster below, one of the bulbs burned out. upon closer inspection also revealed a cracked head. i do miss the performance of these bulbs. but at 40bucks a pop, i think it should definitely last more than one month. maybe just wait for the real xenon units. anyone knows how much??

Phillips has new bulbs on the market (called Blue-white) which appear superior to most others ,& at a very reasonable price ...about $10-15 each. Dont be put off by the name, these are not wierd blue light, they put out brilliant white light with a spectrum closer to natural than most. Only problem is they are currently only available in 9001,9004,9005 types, however they should soon be available in H1,H7 type for Audi. Keep alert for more info.

About 2-3 weeks ago, I posted about the PIAA Plasma Blues, and that I had them in for a few hours, took them out, and noticed cracking on the ceramic tip. No, I didn't touch the glass with my fingers, and in fact, I was wearing latex gloves, but I still didn't touch the glass.<p>98.5 Wett RamAir'ed Santorin Blue 2.8QMS

Just a word of caution,Warren: latex gloves generally contain small amounts of residual solvents &/or plasticizers, as well as unpolymerized latex & free protein components, all of which can have the same effect as touching the bulb with your fingers.
