This past monday i took my 98 1.8t in for the 9500
servicing at imports by day in monroeville. dealer made me wait 2 hours to tell me that my car is too low and they can't get it up on to the service lift. didn't even bother to top off the fluids. i lowered it with h&r coilovers in boston and had alignment done at direct tire, no problems there. can anyone reccommend somewhere in pittsburgh that can handle lowered cars and do alignment, oil changes, etc.
I'd stay away from Day Imports in general. I've never really heard anything good about them and didn't have a good time there when shopping for my A4.
I would try Sewickly Auto, which is on rt 65. I'm not sure if they'll be able to help with a modified car, but I know the owner just rebuilt and highly modified an audi coupe (had it on display a few weeks back), so it can't hurt to ask. Even if the answer is no, i'm sure they jerk you around like Day.
If you can't find their number, I can post it tommorow.
-me

I have a friend whose family always deals with them. He also bought his car from them. When I was shopping for Jetta the salespeople were very knowledgable. They are a first class outfit, al least from word of mouth experiences.
I wouldn't let Day work on my car. When I was in there the people seemed to be not to bright and caring. Looked like a 2nd rate dealer to me.
