View Full Version : The most trivial complaint yet regarding my A4.

But it's still aggravating.
I pick up the dry cleaning, hang it on the hook above the rear door, and, within two minutes of driving, all the nicely pressed clothes have fallen in a heap on the seat. This morning I had only two hangers and they fell off.
So now I'm going to twist-tie the hangers to the hook or I'll see if I can use the grab handle in some way. It's a small matter, to be sure, but I've not had this problem with previous cars, so I'm a little annoyed.
On the plus side, the A/C has had a true test here in D.C. the last couple of days, and it's worked great.
Thanks for letting me vent. Overall, I love the A4.
John
99.5 1.8tqms

It's because the A4 handles so well. Now, if you were to try that in a say... Camry, the clothes would stay on no problem. But if you drive the Camry like the A4....oh wait, you can never drive a Camry like an A4.... nevermind. :)
Cris
"You don't deserve to drive an A4 if all you can do is comp........"
Won't be long before that starts showing up.
I gave up on the clothes hangers and use the grab handle instead. Only down side is it's a two handed operation.
The A/C works OK,but I agree with the guy who was getting crucified the other day about the fan speed, I don't think it will maintain the set temp if you manually reduce the fan speed and I've never had a car's fan going that hard to keep the car cool on a 80 degree day.
Bill Shaffer
