As you all know the 99.5 cigarette lighter flips out of the center console. It didn't take long for mine to get stuck closed. It makes me wonder how many others have done the same. I don't smoke so it is no big deal for me to wait until the 7500 mile checkup, but it sure is a pain not to be able to charge my cell phone. Gentle prying does not work. Has anyone else run into this or know how to fix it?

Yes, I had it as well. You need to take a thin-blade pocketknife, put it into the gap in the lighter assembly facing the back of the car and gently push towards the front of the car. What has happened is that the lighter is now in the "out" position with the assembly closed and you will need to push it back in.

Took it back to the dealer to get it fixed and turned out they had to replace the unit (originally, they tried to pry it open and left some scratch marks). Had it fixed this week and it works fine now.
