View Full Version : It's a disease, I am in Hawaii (on vacation) and looking at A4.org, not outside on the beach!

I'm hoping to get at least a day in Hong Kong...I'll be on the look out for any A4's. I've heard there are a lot of very nice cars in Hong Kong...it has the worlds largest concentration of Rolls Royce's I've been told.

My parents just went back to Hong Kong for business couple weeks ago, they went to the Audi dealer to get something European for me when they come back. They saw a sharp Maya Yellow (looks like butter yellow in my A3 brcohure) which is very sweet. Also look out for some Paradise Green A4 and A6.
By the way, I think HK has the most Mercedes everywhere in the world. You can see all those S-Class all over the area in Central District. Don't take a surprise when you see some hubcaps C and E-Class! Its as common as an Explorer in North America.
Tom
97 A4 1.8TQMS
99 JETTA IV GLS 2.0

I was told when I was in China a year ago that the #1 favorite foreign import is the Audi....the government officials all want an A8 to be driven around Beijing...and if you are lower ranked, then it's the A6 or an older model A8 for you. By the way, the new Passat just went on sale 2 months ago in China...and on the first day of the Shanghai Auto Show, faxes and phone calls from all over China totaled 3,800 Passat-orders. But I don't know what the final ordered amount was....but I bet once the Chinese are tired of the heavy Passat, they'll opt for the A4 (that's once they solve their awful traffic and parking problems).
mike

Jon, good to see you here. Love my A4. I don't regret the decision to get it all. It definetely puts "the big grin on my face". The more I drive it the more I like it...no exageration. Saw your post about the wifes A6 lease deal over on bimmer.org. Glad to see your not only a BMW family - too bad you won't get to test it in the snow:-).
Regards,
Mitch 99.5 1.8tqms
