I had my oil changed on my 98 A4 and the dealer forgot to notify the car's computer that the oil change was completed. Now every time I get in the car the oil LED display flashes.<p>Anybody know how to get it to stop?<p>

Pulled from the archives (hint, search the archives first):<p>"Indicator should have been reset at service by the technician. Very easy to do on 98 cars. (early cars are different). <br>1. Push in on the reset button under speedo and turn key to "ON".<br>2. when " Service oil" is displayed release knob.<br>3. Push in on left knob (for light dimmer) until three dashes replace "service oil" in display.<br>4. turn off key. your now done. "
