99 A4, 2.8, Q
Is anyone else expierencing this? If I park in the hot sun my alarm gets a mind of it's own. It goes off, sets it self, lockes the doors. I've done the "turn the lock open and closed 10-15 times with the key" thing and I've turned off the motion sensor...If it's hot outside it doesn't matter. I have a friend with a 99 and it does it too.

My alarm did the same thing today, about 15 minutes after I left the car coming back from lunch. The outdoor temperature display was reading from 98-101 F. I've had the problem once or twice before, and as I recall, they were hot days.
By the way,my car is a 96, so it ain't a new problem.
Peter G
96 2.8 QM
