I was driving home last night in my '88 80Q, which I bought new in '87. I was daydreaming about my new S4. I glanced down at my console when it hit me! THEY'VE REVERSED THE TACH AND SPEEDOMETER! 12 years of habit (maybe more, I think my Jetta was like the '88) blown!

I can see it now! "But Officer, I was only going 5500rpm!"

Oh well, a small price to pay, I guess!

I don't understand why they felt the need to make 5000 RPM appear as -> 50. 5 would have been good.
