I know, not another chip question but this on is a little different.<p>Well i searched the archive and ,unless my search attempt mas pathetic ,I havent seen this issue addressed. Here are some numbers that are bothering me.<p>1.8t TT(11.5psi) 1.8t A4(tap 11 psi)<br>HP: 180 190<br>TQ: 173 194<p>Unless i am missing something the numbers<br>dont seem to add up. The TT has more boost but produces less HP & Torque. Are these the real world numbers to expect from the chip or has tap done something different? Thanks for any input<p>Note: This is in no was posted to make tap look bad or anything. It is about all chip claims in general. I just chose the tap chip to compare because the boost numbers were close.

You cannot assume like for like!!!!<p>The OEM have huge latitude in what they deliver.<p>The first USA A4's came with a 150 hp 2.8 V6.<p>That's why they increased the HP of the V6 when the 1.8T was made available.
