That's painful to look at. But, it could be worse. A guy in our office was T boned by a truck last weekend. He was on a bicycle! Broken clavical and scapula. Huge knot on his head plus road rash.

Oh, one other thing. From your other post it seems the first indication that you were in a wreck was the airbags deploying. That's interesting, it's nice to know they do thier job.
RobS
98 Laser Red 1.8T QMS Neu.

1. This would be a great time to upgrade to one of the sportier front end bumpers with larger air inlets. Maybe even the bumper off of an S4!
2. A great time to upgrade to Euro lights and clear turn signals since they have to be replaced anyway. If you dont want the clears, you could buy some USED turn signal lenses from an A4orger who did upgrade to clears, and pocket the difference. I bet the clears are cheaper than what the dealer wants for replacement OEM amber lights.
3. If the wheels are bent or scraped, it would be a good time to upgrade your wheels (even the 8 spoke wheels will cost upwards of $350 each).
All this can be done with the help of her insurance company.

Do you live in Pennsylvania? I assume you do given the road names. I live in Buck County, sorry about the mishap.

Yes, now is the time to add those exterior upgrades. I had a hairbrain idea about the hood since it will need to be replaced: have a new one modified to have a air-duct just above/forward of the air intake area. If you have a V6 and using a cone filter, this would be perfect. I'm not sure if this would work for a 1.8t since some modifications would need to be made to the box itself.
I first saw this in a EC magazine on a BMW 3 series car. It was professionally done and looked like a factory mod. Just a thought.
I know how you feel about your "aquaintance"; I too was a victim of a driver that wasn't paying attention. I heard no braking action until I was on top of her hood (I was on a bike); of course then she slammed on the brakes I went flying to the asphalt! B@#$H!
HermanH
98.5 Passat 1.8tM
