I know that Audi had some issues with brakes in germany: A certain salt that is used in germany to keep the roads from icing is not good for the brakes of the A4. There were situations, where people could not stop their car. It only happened in a small region in southern germany.<br>As far as i know, audi recalled the cars and changed the pads and is installing thos pads ever since in the new cars. I do not know if any of this contributes to the wet-braking problems, though.<p>1.8T QMS
