No clocks whosoever seem to be a common problem of VW/Audi products. If you want a car with a clock location that's logical to passengers, you better get a Japanese or American products instead.
Tom
97 A4 1.8TQM (clock for the driver only)
99 Jetta GLS 2.0 (clock for the driver only either)

The next time a passenger asks you for the time, look down at the clock, and say,
"It's . . . .uhhh . . . . "
Meanwhile, turn the steering wheel just slightly to the left. Pretend to realize suddenly that the car is now aiming towards on-coming traffic, and jerk the steering wheel hard to get the car back in its proper road position.
I'm pretty sure they won't ask you for the time again.

Just a thought . . .
:-)

James Wu
A4 Club of Vancouver
1998 Black/Onyx 1.8tqa

A4 Club of Vancouver
