For all those freezing back east, here in Phoenix, I washed and waxed my A4 today in preparation for its 7500 mile service tomorrow. (I prefer to keep the car clean myself). This car (98.5 2.8qms) has really loosened up nicely. On a round trip to Flagstaff over New Year's with a bit of around town driving in addition to 70-75 mph freeway, I averaged just over 28 mpg. I have added just under a quart of oil since it was new. No major problems; just the odd squeek and rattle that come and go.
