Please help. DOnt want high end pricey equipment, just good quality product that will produce better or equal sound and allow me to play CD's.

If you have a 1998 or 1999 A4, I would strongly suggest getting the Panasonic DP801 - 8 disc changer. Believe it or not, you can probably find it for less than the DP601 which is a 6 disc changer. In any event, I had both. I had the DP601 and it didn't work well for me -- probably a sensitive unit given that others on this board love it. For me, however, I swapped it out for the DP801 and have been 150% satisfied. It has yet to skip even once ... and I have an aftermarket suspension.<p>Please note that both Pansonic models require an adapter. Given the popularity of the DP601, the adaptors for that model appear to be more readily available. As for the DP801, the only company that I know of that makes an adaptor for it is called Blitzsafe and it works perfectly. You can get the number at www.blitzsafe.com. I think the guy's name is Lincoln.<p>In any event, there is my two cents worth.

I bought Panasonic DP601 for $200 from a mail order company, and bought the plug in adapter from Crutchfield for $19.99.
