I have already looked in the archives on this issue, but there is not that much good information. There are a lot of quotes from the MTM site on how its not necessary for the 1.8. Is there anyone running a BOV on their 1.8T? If so what brand and how much? Give us some info on your experience and so on. Please dont flame with read the archives or you dont need it. I got the New HKS Super SBV last October and i haven't put it in my car yet cause i had been waiting... waiting for someone to fabricate a pipe that i could put the blowoff on. Finally Greedspeed has developed a kit. Im just getting the upper pipe which goes form the intercooler to the throttle body on the driver's side. As far as Ive heard from other people that have a blow off they say it works fine no problems. Jason ( at greedspeed) and other people on this forum have told me its not necessary until your car starts making more power. Like ( Im guessing) more than 220 and boosting pretty high. I paid 200 for the blowoff unit (universal) and im thinking the pipe costs about 170. If you do go through greedspeed they have a kit that comes with three different pieces of piping that replaces all the stock rubber piping for about 400. hope this helps... <p>k
