Well, got the supercharger, and I have a LOT to say. However, I am exhausted, so I will follow this brief summary with a more detailed report. Yesterday, I drove down to Jersey to have the PES Supercharger Kit installed at PES. The install went extremely smooth. The quality of the production PES pieces is amazing. Beautiful black-anodized aluminum. The bracket even has the PES logo laser-etched into its surface! <p>After installing the kit, the car started right up, and we took it for a drive. It took the computer only about 10 minutes of learning in order to produce some frightening accleration runs. <p>I didn't get to NJ until later in the day, so the install was finished in the evening. I decided to stay the night in the area and make the drive home the next morning (today). What a fun drive it was! I actually drove pretty mellow through 95% of the trip. However, the other 5% was the most fun. This car is an absolute bullet on the highway, and you don't even need to go full-throttle. At 80mph, simply applying part-throttle gives you PLENTY of passing power. Very flexible and smooth power. Full-throttle 4th gear runs are a LOT of fun. I'll have to repost about my run-in with a Volvo on Rt. 91. It was pretty funny! Gotta run, my chinese food delivery just came. I'll post more later.<p>Happy New Year!<br>Mike

...how much is the PES blower? Can you buy it and have it done by your favorite tech., or do you have to take the car to PES and have them do it? I'm considering juicing my wife's '99 A6QSW, and it sounds like the ideal solution!
