However, if you must ask. Personally, I like how the chrome on the side of my 2.8 creates a sharp line below the windows as well as accentuates the nice arch where it blends the c-pillar in. On the other hand, I like how the A!Avantgarde black-out grille downplays the grille opening. I think it blends in with the rest of the front-end quite nicely, which has black vents on the bottom surrounded by body-color bumper (no chrome).

I put an A! grille on my car because it matches the lowere grilles on my Projektzoe body kit.

There isn't anything that looks worse that an A4 without the Rings on the grill. Without the rings the frontend looks unfinished, A big blank black space instead of four shiny rings? C'mon. I guess good taste doesn't grow on trees.

I think that a black grill with the chrome rings looks fine on a car with chrome on the doors. I personally think Audi could have left the outside chrome trim off the grill, and it would look better.
