Hello. I've been doing some research on chipping the 1.8T motor. I've narrowed my choice down to the Wetterauer 1 bar and the Neuspeed P-chip (0.8 bar). I've heard nothing but praise for the Wett chip, but haven't heard much about the P-chip. The biggest difference I see is the price: about 50% less for the P-chip! Of course, the Wett is socketed, but I'm not so sure that is really a big deal. Greedspeed says the 0.8 bar chip will outperform Wetterauer's 1 bar chip (with the stock K03 turbo). Any thoughts???

In what respect? Neuspeeds chip is good, especially for the price. But the Wett chip gives you more hp and more torque.

This is only MHO, but it ain't right to me. There's more power above 3,000 rpm with the Wett and a lot more torque. I wouldn't have swapped the chips if I thought they were that close in performance.<p>Sharon
