Impressions? Experiances? The Garret chip sounds very enticing. <p>-Andrew

Haven't found much in the archives, either. I e-mailed Garrett Lim twice with questions about his chips, and each time he responded, in detail, by the next day. I've decided to get his chip for the following reasons: 1) the few people who reported in the Forum LOVE their chip; 2) he seems to be responsive to customers and happy to customize; 3) the price is right ($400); 4) he seems to like what he does and interacting with enthusiasts and 5) I'm only 2 hours away from his shop.

I have a Garrett stage II chip... it is awesome. Performance is amazing, and mileage is noticeably improved. Garrett is easy to deal with, and is quite the guru.

Chip, Do you have any other mods in addition to the Garrett Stage 2?

Any thoughts/concerns on his products being non-CARB compliant - i.e., not street legal. Obviously, he's had to cover himself by putting in his disclaimer about track usage only - BUT is there a consumer risk if our chipped cars do not pass emmissions standards. Are all other chips CARB compliant?<br>Chris
