Send it to the junk yard or what?

I'm a pack rat...so, I wanted to keep it in case I wanted to take it off when I sold the car this February...I still don't know if I should sell the car with all the mods, some of the mods, or little or no mods. Any thoughts?
Steve S.
97 2.8QM

The downside being it would turn off some conservative buyer, but I see the best market being to a person looking for a fun ride.
Unless you plan to reuse the mods on your new car (seems unlikely) or you could get more for them selling by piece (well, no), then save yourself the pain of taking the stuff off and filling the garage even more.
Somebody is going to be really pleased to have your car with the mods and, hopefully, compensate you for the time and attention you have put into them.

I know, as a future used A4 buyer, that I will probably look over any A4 that has been modified, even though I would plan to chip it. But, if I were to buy it from someone I trusted, knew they kept good care of the car, and knew the mods were done by a reputable person, I would consider it. And I think Steve S's car matches all those qualifications. But if I were looking for an A4, or any car for that matter, I would most likely look over any car with mods. Who knows what hell that guy has put his car through...hmmm, maybe you won't be telling the buyer about all those track events... ;-) Just kidding. my $0.02
-andrewt

I replaced the stock exhaust with a Brullen exhaust supplied by LLTek. I left my exhaust at the shop and left it for their use/disposal. I didn't see an aftermarket for a stock exhaust and don't like holding onto things without just cause.
Now, if anyone is looking for a stock exhaust, I can point you to someone who has one, for a small finders fee..... :)
Rob C.
