Whenever I go to the dealer lot, all I see is silver A4s. However, on the street I have not seen one at all. I have spotted one Santorin blue, one burgandy, two yellow and one volcano black - that's it. (oh yeah, and I have a Santorin blue). I am quite impressed at the colour diversity of this small city - keep up the good work guys.<p>Do the two yellow A4s come to this forum? One of you lives on Island Park Drive and I saw the other one in the parking garage at Place Du Portage this morning.<p>Now, back to our regular programming....<p>Gordon Martin<br>98.5 2.8QMS (Santorin Blue)

I know that Ottawa has almost no movement on price. Mark Motors is the only show in town.<p>I was offered a $1,500 discount on an A4 1.8TQ on the lot.<br>My friend got a $1,200 discound on his A4 1.8TQ + a free tip (he wanted manual).<p>I think Kingston might hold some promise - the VW dealer there is supposed to sell Audi - I would consider faxing a quote request to them once I knew what I wanted.<p>I ended up buying used:<p>I got a fair deal on an Ottawa 98.5 2.8QMS 2 months ago. I took over a guy's lease and he gave me $1,700 cash.<br>When I looked at A4 ads in the three cities, Toronto was most expensive, Ottawa was middle and Montreal was cheapest. However the Montreal and Toronto cars had a lot more mileage (too much commuting I guess).<p>I found my car on Carclick (Southam news page) http://carclick.canada.com/home.asp?sk=ott - they let you compare used car prices accross the country.<p>Where are you? - in the Ottawa area? I am trying to convince my wife to let me go to the NE A4 event in NH next weekend. It might be nice to carpool with fellow A4.ORGers.<br>

I am a former Montrealer who escaped to Toronto. I am now working in the U.S. DC area, as of late.<p>I've got family/friends in Mtl, Ottawa and T.O. and find myself there quite often - hence my search for a Canadian dealer and Canadian spec car.<p>In truth, I am in the market for an S4. Montreal dealers did not even want to discuss it with me as recently as two weeks ago. Toronto dealers have very high expectations (big surprise!) but I found a London dealer with whom I may be able to make a deal which we can both live with (big maybe!). Ottawa is something I have not considered until you posted your Ottawa message.<p>Unfortunately I will not be going to the NE A4 event. Perhaps I'll meet you there next year. Thanks for the info.<p>
