Just wondering if you guys saw the article. It mentioned that a FrontTrak A4 should handle no more than 200hp, while the Quattro has been proven to handle well over 300hp. I think the MTM 1.8T Quattro that they had, had something like 345hp.... or was it 245hp? Anyway, 0-60 was at 5.1 sec.
G. Hale
'98.5 2.8 QMSX
The front trak can handle more than 200hp, its a question of how well it can put the power down. We used MTM's 240hp kit on several front wheel drive cars. The A4 in that issue has 286bhp and 275lb-ft or torque (not 225 as they incorrectly stated). the article is a reprint and is about 2 years old.
Ned
E-Manager
Hoppen Motorsport

I'm sure Audi could build a transmission to handle the power, but the thing that I would question would be the reliability of the CV joints. I don't know of any front factory front drivers with over 230hp, and the only 230hp model I can think of was the Subaru SVX.
G. Hale
'98.5 2.8 QMS
