I inspected my new '99 A4 1.8 TQMS (picking it up today...snow expected!!!) yesterday and was a little surprised to see the 6 disk CD changer located on the bottom left-hand side of the trunk. All other 1.8's I've seen have them mounted on the underside of the trunk so that they're up and out of the way of most cargo.<br>Any '99 A4 owners out there notice this change?

<br>If it helps any, my wife's previous car had the changer mounted like you described and it was a royal P.I.T.A becuase it would block the opening and getting stuff into and out of the trunk was hindered by the changer. Almost accidentally tore the changer off the mounting brackets a few times.<p>
