I wanted a 1.8TQMS in silver. Called all the dealers in my area, no luck. Called AoA 6 weeks ago and they said they had one arriving in 2-3 weeks. It is Light Silver w/ Onyx Cloth, (I love the new cloth pattern. I wanted the Ecru/Blue cloth until I saw the new Onyx) sunroof and the Bose. Anyway, it should be here any day now according to the dealer.<p>(Begin rant)<br>I currently have a 91 BMW 318ic with a bad steering rack. I'm done with this piece of #%@*! I intend to wholesale this car. Guy is coming Mon. to give me a price. They say the most I will get is about $4500. I owe $5800 (bought used, thought I was buying a decent car, had it checked by ind. BMW tech. still nothing but problems). I have the money to make up the difference but I am pissed. I swear to god this car is going to haunt me till the day I die! What is the onyx pattern? Is it the same as the sport seat pattern?

The onyx cloth pattern is the same as the ecru/royal blue cloth pattern. The seats are onyx with onyx and grey inserts. The inserts are a kind-of check pattern. It remins me of the old Porsche houndstooth or Mercedes plaid. It looks really good. I little more understated than the ecru/royal blue cloth. BTW it comes on both the standard and sport seats I think. Mine are the standard type.
