Driving on the 401 in Toronto this past Sunday at around 12:30 pm, and something catches my eye in the right lane. It was an absolutely GORGEOUS A8!! Man oh man, I stared at it with my mouth gaping...the silver was beautiful...suited the car perfectly...I don't get to see many A8s around here...and I was mesmerized by this one...Even my buddy who was with me (doesn't know one car from another) was awestruck...these cars are beautiful...I see a 750i Bimmer and I don't even feel 1% of that reaction...I guess they're just too common...same with Benzes...I was just drinking up those lines...<p>Hmm...now I just have to find a way to save up 90 large (canadian)...hehe...by that time I'll be as old as the guy driving it! <p>Just wanted to share that.......<p>-Ash 98.5 1.8TQMS

a8 is just a streched a4, or enlarged a4 whichever way you look at it

I passed by one at the entrance to Geneva National Golf Course.<p>My significant other was totally impressed and asked why I didn't get that rather than the A6.<br>I said, "$25,000".<p>It was a Beautiful Blue, I've never noticed the color before.

The A8 is not a stretched A4...not by a long shot. The A8 has a rather unique aluminum spaceframe which is in no way related to the A4 platform.

The S8 scenes are worth seeing the very mediocre movie ... I'm embarrased to admit that I had it on tape and watched the scenes a second time. That car is my idea of a true luxo sport touring sedan. Blue is my favourite ... then silver.
