I custom ordered my car (1.8 fully loaded 5 spd) in mid january....it's been five months now!...sob..sniffle..sob. My opologies for not getting back sooner. I have no pc at home cause I work in the silly-con valley 8+ hours a day on a pro-e station so when I get home I like doing anything not related to computers! Btw, what color/options did you get?

mine is getting close to 4 months, also from Rector, and i'm getting about ready to dump it for a y2k model. It's the san diego/houston fiasco according to the dealer. If I bail out, I'll post it here in next two weeks, so that someone from norcal can pick it up. it's 2.8/brilliant/opal/qms/leather/roof.

They have a BUNCH of 1.8's in inventory, but if you want "it all" including sport pckg then you're prob looking at a custom order. I've had great success with them in sales and service. Stop by there & look at the new black TT in the middle of the showroom floor.
Are you going to the June 5th NorCal event? Even if you don't have your car yet you can go & see the others race and get into the drawing for the zillions of dollars of prizes Steve S. put together for us. And drool over all the cars.....oh, that's not fair, sorry....
:) Hmmm by the time your car arrives you'll want to change your order to an S4, non?
1.8, you're gonna chip right?? I have the 2.8, so no chips or salsa for me (until I hear of one that'll get me at least 40 HP gain without spending a boatload)... opts: Silver 99.5 w/ Opal Leather, sport, winter, Bose, sunroof, trip, I think I have everything except TIP. Never did drive auto or want to.....
:0 see ya round the Silly Valley!
Btw, I'd like to replace the brake pads to mintex before it leaves the lot, chip/salsa (recomendations?) and get a valentine-1 right away. By the time my A4 gets here, my clothes will be out of style.

they are relatively a new breed, established by Mr. Paul Casey, and not that many breeders are interested in breeding them... there are a lot of competitors in the spotted cat business, including ocicats (mine is cute), the semi-domesticated semi-wild bengal, mostly wild Serengetis (now those are *really* rare), and the yikes! you shouldn't have that at home varieties like Servals.
Francis
Cactus Green 1.8TQTipS
