I once had a deposit for the S4 back in Nov '97. I eventually gave up after 8 months and bought a new 5 series bmw. It's been a while since I've visited this page and can't believe that people are still waiting for that car. I still lust after every A4 that I see on the road and the S4 should be a great car. But since the introduction of the S4, the new three series bmw made its debut in Europe and in the US. The new 5-series based M5 might even come soon after the S4. Thnaks for your feedback. I agree with you and I'm looking at both the new 3-series and the 5-series. I would like a wagon, though, and figured that an S4 Avant would give alot of bang for the buck. Until I act, however, I'll just have to ride around smiling in the M3. <br>Peter C<br>'95///M3 Coupe
