Hey all,<p>Pretty psyched.. just put my down payment on a 99.5 A4 1.8T quattro, 5speed, sport package, sunroof, and all weather package, volcano black with ecru interior... only thing left now is for the dealer to locate one in the area! (keeping every finger crossed!) One thing that kinda bothers me about the locating process is that if the car is even semi closeby (semi meaning like within 300 miles), they're gonna drive it in to the dealership... now, i don't know if i'm just being paranoid, but i'd feel kinda weird getting a new car with already 300 miles on it... should i really be worying about this, or am i just being paranoid?

I would ask them to have the car transported to the local dealer, preferably in a covered transporter. My dealer did that for me last year and didn't even try to add anything to the cost. Nothing better than getting a car with less than 10 miles on it.<p>Paul waiting for '00 S4

who knows you may get lucky. I don't blame you about the miles, I'm the same way. Mine only had 7 on it. I don't think you're being paranoid, you don't know how whoever drives your car is going to "drive" it. I've run across a many valet drivers etc. who've told me the real truth on how they drive others cars. I NEVER valet my car. Just my .02, I'm sure you'll get plenty of opinions though, we, the A4.Borg are quite opinionated.<p>

Hmmm.... well, they do have close to the exact car I want on the lot... except it has the Bose... so they are going to try and trade that car with a dealer that has the same car without Bose... hopefully they'll be able to locate one... I can't wait 3-4 months for it... :(<p>
