Hi All,<p>I'm thinking about getting Audi A4 "Clear Lamp Special" Euro Lights -( Bosch Headlamps/Clear Corners, in.pro. Clear Sidemarkers lamps) for about $ 500.<p>Has anyone replaced their "colored lens's and lamps" for clear?<p>Are they legal in IL ? Do they add brightness...or are they just for a cool Euro look?<p>Dwayne<p><p>

Clear lenses are OK with amber bulbs. I thought the issue was that the DOT requires an amber *reflector* on the front side in addition to an amber lamp. And that is not present on clear corners.

Thanks Marc.<p>Might start of slow...and just replace the sides or the tail lights. I take it..the bulbs are clear..and I need to find colored one's?<p>My next choice will be a mild chip. I'd like to increase my low-end (98 1.8T QTM). <br>Stage 1 only...don't worry..I'll check the archives before i post!<p>BTW...who is officer Dick? Or he just being one?<p>DC
