Greetings all! It's been quite a while since I've had time and opportunity to hang out here, unfortunately I now have a need for advice and recommendations. <p>My A4 now has a significantly crunched rear bumper and trunk lid that I need to get repaired. One night, while I slept, my A4 decided that it didn't like the parking space I left it in, so decided to find someplace more comfortable. Turns out this was the one night in a hundred that I didn't leave the car in gear, just the parking brake set. Well, during the night the parking brake decided that it no longer wanted to do it's job and the car rolled about 50 feet. The car came to a stop when it found a tree it liked and nestled up against it. Most unfortunately, the angle of the ground and lean of the tree resulted in the bumper only absorbing part of the impact, the trunk lid was also directly struck and crumpled. When I found the car in the morning, I could only stand there and stare, totally dumbstruck by the sight.<p>So, anyways, I now need to find a place to get it repaired. Any body shop recommendations in the Boston area? Should I get a recommendation from a dealer? Or just take it to a dealer directly?<p>Thanks much,<p>Dan W.<br>'96 A4QM<p>
