I'm approaching 400 miles on my '99 1.8t , and my baby is getting a lil dirty around the fenders;
I've heard things about the paint needing time to cure completely when the car is this new. Will the paint be o.k. if I use something like Meguiars gold class car wash ?

thanks for any and all advice,
--K.
I used to laugh at car wash specific soaps myself, always using dishwashing soap, shampoo, whatever was cheap. Then one time I bought a bottle of Zymol car wash. The bottom line is that it (and I'm sure many other car wash soaps) truly cleans without stripping your wax off of the car.
That's the only reason I can think of to use auto car washes. I won't go back to Palmolive!
