Stopped by the local dealer today. Their (one) Audi guy was busy with some other customers, but the guy I talked to (Manager) said he was hearing the price would be close to $45k, but he hadn't received any definite price from AoA.
Is that what everyone else is hearing?
I heard they will be starting at $38,900 or so. (n

I just went to audi-usa.com and priced out a loaded A4 sedan, with extra-cost paint. Leaving out the superfluous Motorola cell phone, the total cost came to $36,875. Get rid of the Tiptronic option and you're down to $35,800.

I don't want to argue with you, but I still don't think anyone is going to see a S4 sticker for under $40K. I still think $45K is what you will see them asking for the S4. No dealer is going to have a stripped down S4 on their lot. If the people can't afford an S4 with options then they should stick with the 1.8t.
My $0.02
Brad 98.5 2.8Qtip Stebro Wett
1. Cold Weather Package (didn't order it--live in Houston; probably about $800)
2. Convenience Package -- sunroof, homelink, auto dimming mirrors (ordered it; probably about $1300)
3. Audio package -- Bose, 6-disc (didn't order it--in-dash CD now standard and I'll get a better stereo anyway; probably about $1,000)
4. Integrated phone (didn't order it--don't own or want a phone).
Everything else is standard. I'll bet my sticker is about $41,500 including destination charge. I can't wait until fall.
