does anybody know of the problem of A4 brakes either (1) cooling down and "sucking in" condensation overnight-no brakes in the morning and (2) why are they so terrible when your driving in the wet-like no braking effect for 1-1.5 soconds at motorway speeds(70-80 mph),anybody got any ideas for a fix???

Goddam that scares the hell outa me when I get no brakes on the highway. I thought it was just my car but I guess not. It will also happen on side roads when I don't use the brakes for a while. I hope someone knows of a fix!

Yup, That sphincter tightening sensation is an experience at hiway speeds. Try the Mintex red box pads. I have had then 9 mos or so and would not go back to any other pad. Less dust and Much better wet braking.<br>PeterV '97 1.8 TQ auto
