For those that have the JL Audio Stealthbox for the A4, is it good clean powerful, and most importantly accurate bass?
I have a JL Audio ProWedge with 3 8W6's currently in the trunk. In this car, I am not happy with the bass. It is fed by a competition system (Alpine, Alpine Digital processor, PPI, Audio Control, etc) but the bass is not correct. I am running out of answers.
I am considering the JL Audio Stealbox but don't know if two 8" woofers will do the job, even if they are firing directly into the cabin.
Please give me your feedback.
Thank you,
ds
98.5 2.8 QTS

I find it very accurate. I'd compare it to a single sealed 12" (which is what I had before).
There's no way it would be as loud as three 8W6's if they are fed the wattage they like. But with 150W, it is louder than I need it. It's pretty sensitive to crossover points...but once I found the spot I liked (took a month or so), I haven't had to touch it since.
steve
