Has anyone used less than 93 octane in a 96 A4 Quattro. I drive 100 miles a day and gas is getting expensive again. Thanks!

Look on your fuel filler door sticker... I'm pretty sure the minimum required fuel grade is 91. If so, you could step down to the middle grade or whatever is 91 in your area without a problem

honestly, I have used all the grades I have found and for a comparison I have not noticed a difference in how the car drove. the only true differnce was that the higher octane gave me better efficency on the intake gas. Do not have a clue as of why. The computer does a great job when adjusting for the different fuel grades.<br>
