I wish i had taken a pic of my rims after a few miles of dirt road in the mountains north of LA...
...i would of made yours look like you just cleaned them!

Next time I waste a set of front pads at the track, I'll take a pic of the inside before I clean it.
I had a set of street pads on my car and used them all up in a day. It seems like the slots on my rotors shot pad material at the inside of the wheel and left 8 evenly spaced piles of brake dust. It's a good thing I cleaned the wheels before that stuff hardened up. Otherwise, I might have been chipping that stuff off with a chisel.
