My rear brakes are almost worn out and I'm thinking about replacing them with either Raybestos,Rofren or Ferodo. Does anybody recommend either brands? Where can I can get the Ferodo pads from?
Also I was going to get my dealer to replace the fronts pads at the same time. Will I be charged for the fitting? The car is still under warranty.

I have the Raybestos front and rear. The car brakes as well as with stock pads and I don't have to clean the wheels every other day. With the lifetime warranty, there is no better value IMO.
NeilM

Brake Parts Warehouse

Do your Raybestos Brake pads make any noise while braking? If not, did you do anything in particular to prevent the noise?
Thank you!
No brake squeal, not even at cold temps. I changed to drill rotors up front and I the installer put some gooop anti squeal on the backs of the pads.
NeilM

I was just in for my 45K service and they told me my brakes have plenty of life left in them. I was hoping to get them replaced while the car is still under warranty, but it looks like I will be footing the bill.
Kyle

I have done 33000 miles. I was trying to get them replaced before the warranty runs out at the end of next month.

No dust and no squeaks. They require a bit more pedal to get the same topping power as the stock pads, but they're easier to modulate (in my opinion). They'll probably charge you to replace the pads, unless they're being replaced under warranty; I paid $81 per axle for installation. I got my Rofrens from Mark @ Clair. See the link in the Product Guide section (above).
CraigB
