The allorad's starter could cost over 400 in parts but 30 hours in labor. The air suspension can be over 2500 in parts and coutnless labor hours... just in diagnosis..
Our cars are technical marvels, but can also be technical nightmares should something fail. A wise choice to share the burden with an extended.
While the Audi extended warranty is a good one... and there is a certain comfort level in it being Audi and the dealership service guys know how to use it... it is not as inclusive as I wanted which is why I went with AWB.
The Audi warranty is sold and provided through a third party who is very respected in the industry and they also are the same provider of the VW extended. JF+A in Florida. However.. certain things like the exhaust system and the CV Joints are not covered. They are considered wear items. There are other items as well that we take for granted and are not covered. These items are excluded. There is verbage in the wattany that could be read as the suspension not being covered... check the fine print.. I'm not sure.
My choice for AWB was that the above items are included as are other wear items. In addition, it was over $1500 less than the Audi extended.
Just my thoughts..
