Hi all, I have wanted a allroad for about 12 months I am really attracted to its versatility.
Viewed a 2001 2.5tdi 6spd at the weekend and decided to take the plunge. It has one owner full Audi main dealer service history and 79k miles on the clock. I managed to get the garage down to £7.5K which I was pleased about as they seem to really hold there value in the UK. The car is spotless with full leather interior brand new p6 tyres and new brakes.

I was worried about the timing belt but the book says it was done (Toothed Belt) @ 56,000. The suspension seems fine did a full road test and I was quite impressed for an oil burner!
As for modifications I am interested in the anti roll bars and the Drive train brace any suggestions?

I have also read some horror stories on the web Quote

"2.5L major failures include:- Injection Pump (£1000+), oil filter housings cause major crankcase pressure problems (£400+), which make for lost of oil leaks (£200-400) and turbo's play up all the time (£1000)."

Is this true are there any other diesel owners on this forum?

    Will post some pictures tomorrow.
Great forum Guys! Keep up the good work.

    Matt.
