The RJ45 runs 8 wires to the trunk DB25. 3 of them also go to the instrument cluster/steering wheel if you have the R/T wheel, leaving 5 free wires.

At least one pair of them is shieled IIRC because that's the pair the real handset mic hooks to. You wouldn't use any of the pre-install speaker/mic, just the armrest to trunk cable for your wiring.

Just a thought....
