here's what you need.

- A $50 firewire card (Western Digital recommended)
- MediaFour's Macdrive software $50
- Ephpod, free from www.ephpod.com
- Windows 2000 or XP, 98 and ME work too.

The current "stable" version is 1.30 and it works fine. There is a much more feature rich version 1.40, but that is still very beta.

It works well. I have a fully functioning iPod that I'm 100% happy with right now. Once Joe of Ephpod gets the additional features in, it will be awesome. Note that Ephpod even does stuff Apple iTunes doesn't do... like let you take songs OFF the iPod back onto the computer.

I'd be happy to assist anyone wanting to get their PC working with their iPod. I'd also suggest sending Joe from Ephpod $30 bucks or so for all his hard work.
