Paul, do you have the pin outs for the blue cluster connector? I snipped one wire to bypass....

Default Paul, do you have the pin outs for the blue cluster connector? I snipped one wire to bypass....

the oil level sensor from working but it's still beeping and lit up on the dash. There is only one other wire and a ground left.

I can't find the wiring diagrams on the Bentley for the cluster though.

Default ok, now I'm gonna light this one on fire. I cut pin #11 on the green connector and it still....

beeps and displays an error. Is it smart enough to know that I'm trying to bypass the circuit?

I now have 2 wires cut behind the cluster and the connector isn't even plugged in at the oil pan? How is this working?

Maybe I have to start over and try and fix it once and for all. Haven't had much looking with that either.

Default It probably works like the brake pad sensor. Closed circuit = no warning.

cut wire/open circuit = warning.

So, I wonder if I ground pin #11 behind the cluster if that'll turn off the light?
