Man, it was very evident how much you loved that car and how cherry it was - you had so much time into it. Hopefully it was your car not your wifes that had that niggling oil level indicator issue you could never solve 8-).

I had my '76 Westfalia go up in flames before me, sure is a helpless saddening feeling. Boy do magnesium engine blocks *BURN* - d'oh. This was pulling into my (Catholic) HS, and featured nearly the entire neighboring Tech school flunkies outside chanting "Burn Baby Burn" while I sat powerless.

Anywho.
