the insurance company would have totalled it anyways. you might be able to buy it from them, if you need the parts, but then you have the hassle of having a carcass sititing in your yard, and then the wife will start screaming "this isn't a junk yard"!!! which will cause rage on your part, because your mistress has been ravaged by fire and the wife just doesn't understand that the car means more to you than she does (am i talk about you or me??)

well.. hopefully the insurance company will give u a fair price, remember to show them all receipts for any recent work/parts/etc.
