Integrated Engineering vs APR Engine\TCU Tune 2023 S8
IE Audi 4.0T V8 EA825 ECU Tune For C8 RS6, RS7, S8, SQ7, SQ8, & RSQ8 | Integrated Engineering (performancebyie.com)
I have multiple S8, S4 and Sq5's with APR tunes. Integrated Engineering is the only 2023 S8 tune available.
1) How does Integrated Engineering compare with APR?
2) Integrated Enginering provides a TCU tune with tune package. It's not fully cracked so the TCU is tricked by parameters in the engine tune. Does anyone have experience with these partial TCU tunes? I hear people have complained the transmission shifts the RPMs way to high when in normal mode? I expect this in sport mode but not normal? Can a partial TCU tune work differently in normal and sport modes?
3) Sophistication of Tune. Does Integrated Engineering modify the same, more or less parameters?
4) Does anyone have this tune on a 2023?
5) Why is it taking APR so long to crack tune and Integrated Engineering beat them to the crack? When will APR be ready?

My guess is APR is not cracking down a tune is due to the low number of S8's sold in the US, not to mention that not too many owners will want to void their factory warranty with a tune. Don't get me wrong, extra horsepower and torque is always nice to have. The S8 is a monster the way it is without any tune.
