I have to admit that the power in this car is amazing. My 6 cyl 2022 A8 was no slouch at all, and it was hard keeping it under 85 mph on the highway, but still get close to 30 mpg at that speed. The S8 is definitely thirstier and part of it is my fault, as I love the engine growl when you step on it. I have to avoid speeding tickets with the S8 as it wants to cruise around 100 mph, or may be it is just me....
