I recently read an article stating that Audi models from 2023 onwards would feature an app store, which can be accessed through vehicles equipped with the MIB 3 system.

This new functionality was expected to be included in the summer 2023 updates. However, the article also mentioned that older models (pre-2023) might not receive this update.
I own a 2022 facelift Audi A8 equipped with MIB 3, and I'm wondering whether a software update might still be possible for my car, considering the hardware (MIB 3) is already in place and theoretically capable of supporting this function.

As I cannot find the app store icon in the menu. I am curious to know if any other 2022-2023 users have managed to get this capabilities.
Additionally, I saw a YouTube video featuring a 2024 Audi A8 where the menu clearly displayed the icons indicating the presence of the new app store.
Could anyone clarify if there’s a possibility for older models with MIB 3 to receive this update? Any insights or experiences regarding this would be extremely helpful.

Audi generally doesn't reverse update MMI systems. So no, is my guess
