Seems MIB3 is from 2021 onwards, just went down this rabbit hole. Way too much information for me to digest.
I wanted to see if MIB2 has the same resolution as MIB3 on the D5, and it does! https://www.audi-mediacenter.com/en/...-displays-7182

WOW! This looks great! Any chance you can do remote coding (I have an ENET cable)? I live in London so quite far out from you.

upgrade error
Hello
My name is Eugen Ghinea and I am writing to you from Romania!
I recently purchased an Audi A8D5 (year 2020) and I have the following problem for which I am willing to pay to be able to solve it.
I tried to update the MIB for the virtual cockpit to be able to activate the 3-4 graphic options in the mmi menu and I managed to do this but... unfortunately, when driving, any movement over 80km/h shows me the speed limit message regardless of the situation and place, the fact that made me downgrade and return to the simple and unique virtual cockpit with which the car was delivered. In what coding or where can the activation of these overspeed warnings appear at over 80km/hour after I do this upgrade, I repeat, it installs well in the menu, the options appear in mmi, everything is ok except for this annoying overspeed over 80km/h message time
Sorry for my english (google translate)
Thank you very much if you answer me!

I have to tell you. Mine has this option. It somehow doesn't look good.Switched it a couple of times and went back to the normal one. There are companies or guys who have the software to unlock this function. It's like 200-300 euros plus video in motion unlock. My advice is go to someone who has done it before.I follow a guy on TT who uploads videos in couple of days , like he's doing it on a regular basis. He's done A8's Q8's A6'es.That's what you should be looking for. I was at Audi one day and some poor guy tried to do it with someone who obviously had no idea what he was doing. His cluster died and they (Audi OD) skinned him alive , literally.
Think it over though i don't think it's worth it
